    My name is Shawn and I’ve been with Town & Country Solutions since the beginning of 2018. But beyond that, “sorry, eh? I really just don’t know what to say ‘aboot’ myself.” Sooner or later, being Canadian is something that people will learn about me as I’m proud of my heritage! I was born in Toronto, Canada, but have been living here in Rochester, New York since 2002.  My wife Stephanie and I have 4 wonderful kids and I am truly blessed to have such a fantastic wife and wonderful family! I thoroughly enjoy fathering my kids and watching them all participate in sports, music, school, church or any other activities!

    Beyond my fatherly responsibilities, I enjoy spending time doing a variety of home improvement projects, golfing, playing any competitive sport possible (including Spikeball), and having the chance to volunteer in music and the college age ministry at First Bible Baptist Church.

    It’s just so nice to be ‘home’ everyday as the company truly knows how to make their employees feel like family!

    • I have been having Town & Country do my bee proofing for several years now. They always send me a reminder in the spring, which I appreciate because I lose track of when it’s the best time to bee proof. I have an acre property with a large garden and dozens of fruit trees, so bees can be a problem in my house and barn. The bee proofing done by Town & Country is well done. I get an all-season guarantee. This past year was the first time I actually had to call them back for a bee problem mid-season in my house. Some bees had found a tiny crack in the siding on my house near the roof and had built a nest in the wall of my house. I could hear them during the night in my bedroom. It took a while, and 2 more visits by Town & Country, to figure out where they were getting in, but eventually we found the spot. Town & Country then treated the area, which killed off the existing nest. I would definitely recommend Town & Country Pest Solutions to anyone looking for quality bee proofing.

    • He gave a lot of great information about how the wasps move around and how to remove it after the week was up. I had a huge wasp nest underneath the corner of my deck with 200-300 wasps in it. I found out about it after it stung my puppy and made an outdoor picnic move inside. Mike came and took care of it for me. I called in the morning and they came out the same afternoon! They sprayed to make sure the treatment was effective. He provided instructions on accurate next removal a week later. He informed me that we needed to leave the nest for a week to make sure all of the wasps that move in and out of the nest through out the days would be affected. He gave a lot of great information about how the wasps move around and how to remove it after the week was up.
